For all those that thought it was too cold and wet, well, you just missed out on a great day. Sure it was cool, it's Victoria and late autumn, what did you expect. And yes, it did rain, but mostly when we were stopped. I recall 2 odd minutes of rain into Korumburra but that was about it. Certainly the roads were not wet enough to dissuade me from taking the scenic single track twisty roads in favour of the main thoroughfares. Bayles was a little disappointing in that there were hardly any bikes there, but it gave us the excuse to drop into Kelly's bakery for their excellent fare. And of course the pizzas at Meeniyan were as good as ever. Warning though, they no longer split bills.....not sure why they bothered putting in computerised tills....... The roads back through Foster, Fish Creek, Koonwarra, Alvie and Kernot were dry and fast, litter free and more importantly, traffic free. Back for ice creams at 3:30 at Tooradin, excellent day out.........what were the rest of you doing?
